FNB is looking for a Technical Test Analyst to join its Commercial Forex team. In this role, you will create, debug, verify, maintain, and update technical test scripts for automated testing to ensure the functionality of systems. This role is critical to prevent errors and defects in the live system by implementing change control and continuous improvement. You will work with a team dedicated to adaptability, resilience, and innovation, where change is embraced, and expertise is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Define non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, resiliency, reliability) with stakeholders
• Develop and implement strategies addressing non-functional requirements throughout the development lifecycle
• Collaborate with architecture and development teams to build resilient, reliable systems
• Create optimal code, implement resiliency constructs, and validate these with QA
• Develop automation tools for operational tasks and ensure thorough root cause analysis for any incidents
• Identify and automate improvements to enhance productivity and reduce manual tasks
• Present insights effectively and demonstrate strong communication skills
• Adapt quickly to new projects, setting up and executing performance strategies aligned with stakeholder expectations

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in testing or programming
• Degree or relevant certification, including ISEB/ISTQB Certification (ISTQB Advanced Analyst preferred)
• 5+ years in automation testing (including Selenium experience)
• 3+ years in API Testing
• Preferred industry experience in banking, with a focus on Java technologies
